How to Make the Most of your Bridal Preview
Hello friends, and of course - my future brides!
Hope you are doing well, staying safe and healthy and also staying sane managing all the wedding planning! I understand it can be crazy sometimes, so here I am sharing more tips for you. Hope this guide help you prepare and make the most of your upcoming bridal preview.
WHAT IS A BRIDAL PREVIEW? DO I REALLY NEED IT?
Bridal Preview, aka ‘Bridal Trial” is a consultation and service appointment where I meet you, my Bride, discuss hair and makeup and try them on.
WHEN SHOULD I SCHEDULE A PREVIEW?
I suggest doing it 4-8 weeks prior to your wedding day. You can actually set a preview earlier than the recommended time frame. If that will help you ease your mind with planning, it's totally alright.
WHAT TO BRING?
I suggest bringing 2-5 photo inspirations for hair and makeup. I personally love taking the time to discuss each photo with your and we will narrow them down to create your perfect wedding look. Bring your hair extensions if you have decided you will be wearing one. You may bring your veil and your hairpiece if you have them. If there is a lip color you really like or a specific lipstick shade, bring it too.
You can bring your wedding inspiration photos - from your dress, your shoes, your bridesmaids dresses, etc. The more I get to know you and your personal and wedding style the better.
And lastly, wear white (or cream , or ivory, or milk white, champagne or mocha). Wear something that resembles the color of your dress. This will help in visualizing your overall look.
WHAT TO EXPECT?
My Bridal Previews are usually 2 - 2.5 hrs long and we can try up to 2 looks for hair and makeup.
I personally send my future Brides a trial guide and prep reminder before the appointment thru email. It’s my mini way for me to let my Brides know that I am looking forward to creating the best look only for them.
