the story behind my artistry

why i chose to be a bridal artist?

I can tell you a million reasons why. Let’s start with - I ADORE LOVE STORIES. I love hearing the story how the proposal went as we do the preview. I love how the bride’s eyes glimmer with excitement when I hand her the mirror. I love creating looks thats in uniquely YOU.

I cry day after the wedding when I get text messages from brides gushing about their perfect look. I heart jumps when brides or photographers shares wedding photos with me. These are just some of the reasons and these keeps me going, weekend after every weekend.

finding my purpose

i found the perfect canvas for me.

I grew up in a family of artists, although different in mediums and styles but all fall on the same subject: ART.  In my childhood days, I spent most weekends and summer vacation days in our family-owned photo and portrait studio,  helping out with commissioned paintings, murals  and portraiture projects which eventually served as my training to the world of art. Then I discovered that people's faces are the perfect canvasses for me!

My passion for makeup artistry led me to work with top brands including MAC Cosmetics, Playboy, Velour Lashes, a number of Makeup Artist trade shows and also have participated in LA Fashion Week. I also worked (and still working!) with elite bridal beauty companies that services Southern California and beyond.

i’m your friend, your confidant, your hype-woman or the one who will calm you down when you feel nervous. like an extra bridesmaid (or a sister) for your special the day.

    I am currently based in Long Beach, CA but I grew up in Manila. Yes, I speak fluent FIlipino!

    I happily married to my HS sweetheart JayR (18 years and counting) and a proud Mommy to our smarty six year old boy, Jayzar.

    My first ever wedding was featured in an entertainment magazine in UK. So cool for my 1st wedding, don’t you think?

    I love shopping for beauty products and I am addicted to organizing my pro kit.

    If I am not working a wedding on weekends, you’ll likely find me in a theme park hanging out with my family.
